The
Carnival is fun for all and another opportunity to meet parents and teachers. The carnival is our
biggest fundraiser of the year and helps set the tone for the financial support
our organization can provide our students next year.
As
always, our Parent-Teacher Club can only be as successful as the support we
receive from the Lincoln Community.

Next monthly club meeting is Oct
06, 2009 at 6:30 PM in the library.
Come see our remodeled library and tech lab!
This is a
wonderful way to meet other Lincoln Lion parents, hear about activities at the
school, and eat free snacks. The PTC meets the “first” Tuesday of every month.
If the first Tuesday is a holiday, we will meet the following Tuesday.
We have
been successful at keeping the meetings to an hour or less so please come and
enjoy some refreshments. Hope to see you there!
Let us know
if you would like to fill any of the vacant positions or can convince someone
else to volunteer to be on the board. We need your help!

Other
Programs that Help Lincoln School:
Fashion Fair School
Cents Program: View
current points and flyer information.
This is an easy and fun
way to support Lincoln. Lincoln will receive between $250 and $2500 at the end
of the school year. Schools receive 10 points for each dollar spent at Fashion
Fair (Gottschalks, JCPenney and Macy's receive five (5) points). All receipts
are stamped and returned immediately.
If you forget to have your
receipts logged, it’s OK. You may take them in any time before May 15, 2010.
The mall also has special events that double points so you can take them in
during those dates as well.
Color flyers are sent home
with your children about once a month to announce the special events. Mrs.
Laura Gross is Lincoln’s program coordinator this year. If you have any
questions, please don’t hesitate to contact her. You may also send her a
message through the Lincoln PTC or at Lincoln’s office.

In order to reduce the number of
returned checks, we are implementing Lincoln School’s policy of accepting only
cash or money orders beginning April 15th for the rest of the school
year.
On occasion, we have had to
submit bounced checks to the District Attorney’s office. So you are aware,
please note that passing a bad check with the intent to defraud is a crime. You
could be arrested and prosecuted, per California Penal Code 476a.
