Welcome to Mrs. Peterson’s

                                             6th grade class!!

                   “Attitude Plus Actions Equals Greatness!”

                         Week of May 7-11, 2012

Dear Parents,

Well, STAR testing is here and I couldn’t be more proud of how much effort I am seeing from all  of these students!  They are focused and concentrating and working hard!    This week we are taking the language portion of the text and next week we will concentrate on math..  Bless their hearts, they are trying so hard!  Please make sure you child is getting a good night’s sleep, eats a good breakfast  and gets to school on time. Thank you!  J

The kids brought home a permission slip last week about  internet safety that is going to be held on May 14th,.  The Fresno County Sherriff’s Office and Cedarwood are in a joint effort to increase awareness of the dangers they may face on the internet.  Parents are also invited to attend.  The students do have to have a permission slip because of the nature of the talk-which will, of course, be tastefully done.  Permission slips are due ASAP. Thank you!

Thank you to all of you who have sent in your camp funds and information.  Do not worry if you haven’t done so.  The cut off time for personal checks is now over and the office is asking that funds for the trip be paid for with cash of a cashier’s check.  Please let the office know if this is a problem. The kids are getting very excited and it is approaching soon!  :)

Your kids are the ABSOLUTE  BEST!!!!!!!!

Mrs. P. J
